The Icon of Banpo Han River Park
In 2011, the Sebit DungDungSeom (3 Floating Lantern Islands) was constructed for the Han River Renaissance Project. The islands were constructed in front of one of the wealthiest place in the Gangnam Area called Banpo Dong. Banpo Dong, famous for attractions such as the JW Marriott, Express Bus Terminal, Shinsegae Department Store, is also one of the most expensive districts due to its accessibility to 3 different subway lines. Well known residences include the Xi Apartment (2008) and Samsung Raemian Firstige Apartment (2009).
Facilities in the Artificial Islands includes cafe, restaurant, and convention centre.

Parking is limited, especially during the summer time when it is crowded. The Banpo Han River Park definitely is a great place to check out in Seoul. It is one of the few parks that reside in the urban Gangnam area of Seoul. Feel the breeze of summertime along with great view of the "Miracle of the Han River".
